Kim Kardashian shares cute selfies with son

Kim Kardashian shares cute selfies with son Saint and calls him out for angry face

The Keeping Up With The Kardashians star, who recently made her official social media return with a selfie debuting her lip ring, took to Twitter to share two adorable photos alongside her one-year-old son.

But Saint seemed less than impressed with his mum’s series of selfies, so she called him out on his attitude.
While Kim, 36, went fresh-faced, Saint could be seen perched in a high-char with his hands placed in front of him, giving a steely stare at the camera.
Matching his mum’s famous pout, North West’s little brother frowned.

"Look at his cheeks and angry face lol," she wrote with the picture shared with her 50.2m followers.
Prior to Saint’s angry-looking selfie, Kim shared a slightly sweeter one of her toddler caught off guard.
Seemingly more intrigued, than annoyed, by the camera at this point, Saint stared wide-eyed, while his mum was just visibly at the side of the snap.
“Me and my Sainty boo a few months ago…” she wrote alongside it.

Saint isn’t the only one in his famous family to be showered in attention from Kim recently.

Falana demands DSS release Babatunde Gbadamosi

Falana demands DSS release Babatunde Gbadamosi

Legal luminary and constitutional lawyer, Femi Falana (SAN), has sought for the release of one Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi from the custody of the Department of State Services (DSS), who he alleged is being detained illegally.
In a release on Wednesday, Falana says: “Mr. Babatunde Olalere Gbadamosi, a chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) was invited to the Lagos office of the State Security Service, on Wednesday, last week.
“As a law abiding citizen he honoured the invitation. Although he was not accused of committing any criminal offence or security breach, he was arrested and taken to Abuja for interrogation. Since then Mr. Gbadamosi has been denied access to his family and lawyers by the SSS. By holding him incommunicado the SSS has violated the fundamental rights of the detainee to personal liberty and fair hearing.
“Having regard to the facts and circumstances of the arrest of Mr. Gbadamosi I am compelled to demand for his immediate and unconditional release from the unlawful custody of the SS. In the alternative, the SSS should charge him to court forthwith if there is evidence that he has committed any criminal offence known to law.
“Even under the defunct military junta the arrest and detention of political detainees and economic saboteurs were justified by the military dictators under preventive detention decrees. Notwthstsnding that the obnoxious decrees have been repealed the SSS has continued to breach the fundamental rights of the Nigerian people in utter breach of the relevant provisions of the Constitution which have guaranteed them.
“Once again, I urge the Attorney-General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Mr. Abubakar Malami (SAN), to restrain the SSS and other law enforcement agencies from infringing on the fundamental rights of the Nigerian people.
“In particular, the attention of police, anti-graft and security agencies ought to be drawn to the combined effect of section 35 of the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and section 6 of the Administration of Criminal Justice Act, 2015 which have prohibited the arrest and detention of any person in Nigeria without due process.”

Ash Wednesday: Cleric urges Christians to be peaceful, loving

A cleric, Rev. Fr. Philip Jamang, has urged Christians to be peaceful and loving throughout the lent season, as Catholics, and other orthodox churches all over the world mark the Ash Wednesday.
Jamang, who is the Parish Priest, Church of Assumption, Chongo Pyel, Jos, made the call in an interview with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday in Jos.
NAN reports that Ash Wednesday kick starts the lent season; the 40-day prayer and fasting season.
The cleric said the lent season operates on a tripod that encourages Fasting, Prayer, and Alms Giving.
He said Christians must use the lent period to imitate Christ by showing undiluted love and kindness to those in need.
He also urged Christians to remain peaceful in all their dealings and at all times.
“It is fitting for Christians to imitate Christ during this 40-day fasting and prayer.
Jesus used this period to show his supernatural love for mankind, and so we are oblige to do same to one another devoid of religious differences.
“Jesus during his fasting period showed how peaceful he is, and that was why even in the face of serious challenges, he remained peaceful
“As much as Christians are facing series of challenges today, I still want to urge us to be peaceful and kind to our fellow Christians and Muslims alike.
“We must eschew violence and embrace peace, for most of these challenges are man-made, and certainly, God will bring succour soon,” he assured.
The cleric further admonished Christians to reach out to the needy in the society, so as to make them have a feel of the dignity of life.
The priest also called on Christians to use the lent period and pray for Nigeria, adding that only through fervent prayers will the country attain its desired goals.

Court awards N.5m against MTN

Court awards N.5m against MTN over unauthorised deductions

The Federal High Court in Ibadan on Wednesday awarded N530,000 to Oluwole Aluko for unathorised deductions from his mobile lines by MTN, Nigeria.
In his judgment, Justice Nathaniel Ayo-Emmanuel, held that MTN had admitted guilt by not challenging the action.
“The plaintiff has the right to allow or reject the use of a caller tune. MTN cannot force the use of any caller tune on him or anybody because it is unlawful,” the judge said.
“Though the plaintiff sought N10 million as damages, but I hold that any damage suffered must be commensurate with the claim.
I, hereby, award a cost of N500,000 for the damages suffered and another N30,000 as cost incurred during the court process.”
The plaintiff, who is also the counsel in the case, had in 2016 instituted a N10 million suit against MTN.
He claimed that the communication company unlawfully made several deductions from three of his MTN lines for caller tunes he did not subscribe to.
However, the defence counsel, Fatiullah Tiamiyu, said MTN was not served any court process.
“That is the reason the company has not been represented in any previous sitting,” he said.
